Main points of the story | This story is about some frogs who wanted someone to rule over them because they were bored. They asked Jupiter, the king of the gods, for a king. Jupiter gave them a big log to be their king, but it didn't really do anything. Then, Jupiter sent them a crane to be their king, and the crane started eating the frogs. The frogs realized they had made a mistake and asked Jupiter to take the crane away. Jupiter told them they had only themselves to blame for their troubles because they asked for a king. The story teaches us that sometimes the things we think we want can turn out to be bad for us. |
